PEPA represents the poultry and egg industry in governmental relations. PEPA has two registered lobbyists on staff and a techincal director who play a key role in influencing decision-making in California on behalf of the industry. PEPA is involved in many issues including: agricultural marketing, transportation/trucking, air pollution laws and other environmental regulations, farm animal welfare, food safety, egg inspection, taxes, and more.
The PEPA PAC is a voluntary political action committee committed to improving and protecting the poultry industry in California. A PAC FAQ and the application/ contribution form are available online.
